A new experiment....
The Chalgrave Forum is a tool that enables members and visitors to add comments about the course, the clubhouse, our social events, Rules of Golf, as well as anything Golf. You will need to register as a user on your first visit. The forum is run and hosted by the club, so all aspects are fully secure and controlled by ourselves and third parties will not be contacting you to sell you double glazing!!

There is a section called Arrange your Game...if you are looking for a playing partner for a competition, someone to play golf with socially, need someone to mark a card for handicap or if you are prepared to mark a card for someone else, then add a post!!

Chalgrave Manor Golf Club is set in 150 acres of rolling Bedfordshire countryside. At 6,398 yards from the white tees, it is a good club golf course, and with 5 par 5's (one of which is amongst the longest in the country at 621 yards). The shorter par 3 tenth hole (pictured below) often gives good cause for memories, with the lake stretching from tee to the green. The tricky tenth also has a sloping green which has seen a good golfer 7 putt from less than 12 inches! The Captain's Charity Fund swells by 50p each time someone goes in the water!!

As a members club, there is no need to book tee times, simply turn up and play. At weekends and Bank Holidays, only Members and their guests can play before 1.00pm, ensuring that our members are given absolute priority on the course. Club Matches and Club Competitions usually take place at weekends, and so there may be times when the tees are closed for these events. Memberships are available to suit all golfers. The traditional Full and 5 Day memberships provide unlimited access to the course with no further green fees to pay. 5 Day Membership at Chalgrave Manor Golf Club also includes the Bank Holidays, and allows access at weekends on payment of the Associate Membership green fee.

The Associate membership scheme is perfect for the occasional, local golfer or for golfers not wanting to go to Full membership at this stage. From just £60 per annum plus a green fee when you play, this membership allows access to the course at any time, a handicap certificate and access to the Monthly Medal competitions.

Chalgrave Manor Golf Club, is very much a family golf club. With its relaxed atmosphere and the emphasis on the enjoyment of the beautiful game, golf. The club has a range of social functions, with family events such as Halloween and Fireworks, Children's Christmas Party as well as dinner Dances, Race Nights, Discos and Charity events throughout the year.
